With so much lacrosse talent and only nine teams in the current National Lacrosse League, it’s easy to say there could be double the amount of teams in the league before the competition level became watered down. Using cuts from this year’s preseason only, there are two team possibilities that us at ILWT could come up with.
Team One
Goalie: Cody Hagedorn, Zach Higgins
Defense: John Ranagan, Mike Triolo, Tyler Codron, Cody Teichroeb, Mike Woods, Mike McNamara, Conrad Chapman
Forward: Brier Jonathan, Brody Eastwood, Brandon Staal, Kevin Ross, Colin Boucher, Jamie Lincoln, Dane Sorenson, Terry Ellis, Josh Gillam, Danton Miller
Team Two
Goalie: Doug Buchan, Pete Dubinski
Defense: Tyler Albrecht, Scott Ratliff, Michael Simon, Jake Archdekin, Jamie Batson, Pat Miles
Forward: Phil Caputo, Wenster Green, Matt Delmonico, Matt Crough, Dan Michel, Pete Rinnie, Dylan Goddard, Josh Hawkins, Mark Cockerton, Dean Hill, Mike Burke
And, an extra all-practice roster team:
PR Team
Goalie: Kevin Orleman (Buf), Eric Penney (Van), Warren Hill (Geo)
Defense: Dan Ball (NE), Justin Martin (Buf), Nick Ossello (Col), John Rae (Roc), Matt MacGrotty (Sask), Joel Coyle (NE), Brayden Hill (Geo), Blaze Riordan (Buf)
