NLL Preview: Stealth at Mammoth

The Vancouver Stealth will travel to Colorado tonight to take on the Mammoth in their fourth meeting of the season. This is the final time these teams will meet. The game is tonight at 9:00 ET at the Pepsi Center in Denver.   Colorado has won two of the matchups and Vancouver has won one; each game has been decided by one goal.

For the Mammoth, Adam Jones is out with a separated shoulder and will miss a minimum of two more weeks. They will have to rely on veterans Drew Westervelt, Sean Pollock, Casey Powell and John Grant Jr in his absence. The Mammoth are looking to get back to .500 this weekend and having rookie Dillon Ward in the net gives them the best chance to do that as Tye Belanger has struggled at times this season.

The Stealth are hoping to break a losing streak as they are presently 2-4. This weekend they will be bolstered by the return of Rhys Duch and Kyle Sorenson to the lineup after both missed a game to suspension. The Stealth do hold the edge over the Mammoth as they are 22-14 all time against them, however, they are struggling offensively at the moment. Having Duch back will definitely be a boost to the offense as he leads the Stealth in every offensive category. Tyler Richards has played in all 8 games so far, holding onto a save percentage of .780.

Given the history between the two teams this season, this looks to be another close one. Tune in tonight to watch. The game will be on YouTube via thelacrossenetwork or airing on Altitude.
