Chris Panos is back this week with his weekly column. Make sure to send questions via social media using #PanosQA. Or, you can email your questions to marisa@inlacrossewetrust.com with the subject line of “Panos Q&A”Q: Which players are your favorite to watch in today’s game?

I enjoy watching many players, but a few who I have played with and are still having great careers would have to be John Grant and John Tavares.

Q: What do you think of Ed Comeau coaching the Swarm in Georgia?

I think Ed will do a great job and they have a nice young team with lots of talent to mold. They should make the playoffs with that roster.

Q:  What kind of a leap is it for rookies to play professional lacrosse?

It’s a big leap from NCAA or Jr. A into the NLL. I would say it’s not as difficult of a transition to MLL if comparing the two for many reasons, however the best players play in those two leagues.

Q: Are there concerns about the way the wla and msl are handled with the player transfers?

There will always be concerns about players transferring in the Canadian summer box leagues from different provinces. Unfortunately, the players choose to transfer and try and chase the cup based on which province it’s being played in to try and maximize the chance to hoist the Mann Cup.

Q: As a player, do players think much about the way the league they play in is marketed?

I can’t speak for most players now, but as a player myself, I was always thinking about marketing. I wanted the arenas as full as possible for games, so anyway to get the word out or advertise the team or league I was happy to spread the love for the game.
