After Casey Powell signed with the Rochester Knighthawks before training camp yesterday, a source with Rochester tells In Lacrosse We Trust that Paul Rabil was not at training camp.
Rabil is under contract after the trade and just needs to show up at Hawks camp, but after two days of Knighthawks training camp he has not done that, and some sources expect him not to sign.
One source says that Rabil wants to play in Philadelphia, which is a team known for developing American players.
The Knighthawks offense is so deep that some Rochester fans have expressed via forums and social media that they prefer not to have Rabil, but instead keep the ball in the hands of players like Powell, Johnny Powless, Stephen Keogh and Cody Jamieson.
Rabil played for the Washington Stealth his entire career before being traded to Edmonton and holding out, and was then traded to Rochester in the off season.
