Power Rankings: Edmon(Ten). Rush Stay Perfect, Bandits, Hawks Close Behind

Week 12   Edmonton rolling along at a perfect 10-0.. Bandits and Knighthawks making it a three team race to the cup

 

Power Rankings   Week 12

(1) 1—Edmonton Rush  (10-0) Rush continue to roll up the victories as they dismantled the Calgary Roughnecks Friday night 15-7.  Greer (3G), Knight, Corbeil, Matthews, Conway (2G each) lead the attack.  Rush will now host Eastern Conference leading Buffalo on Friday night 9:30pm

(2) 2—Buffalo Bandits (8-2)   Buffalo opened up a 5-0 lead over Colorado, and held off the Mammoth run in their 12-9 victory.  Steenhuis (3G), Resetarits, Tavares, Benesch (2 goals each) lead the Bandits to victory.   The Bandits travel to Edmonton and Minnesota this weekend.  First they visit the Rush Friday 9:30pm. Then visit the Swarm Sunday at 2pm

(3) 3—Rochester Knighthawks (9-3) Showed why they are back to back champions.  Weekend sweep of victories over Toronto and Philadelphia.  Scored 8 times in third quarter Saturday to take control over Toronto and win 17-12.  Sunday they controlled the tempo and the game defeating the Wings 11-7.  Jamieson (4G) Vitarelli (3G) led Saturday.  Point(4G) Dan Dawson (3G) led the way Sunday.  Knighthawks are off this week.  Host Edmonton March 29th7:30pm

(4) 4—Calgary Roughnecks (6-5)  Showed up for the first 15 minutes Friday as they were dismantled by  Edmonton 15-7. Curtis Dickson was only bright spot with four goals.  Calgary travels to play the Stealth Friday night 11pm

(5) 5—Colorado Mammoth (5-8)   Overcame a 5-0 run from the Bandits but fell in the end 12-9.  Grant Jr (4G) and Delgarno with a hat trick led the Mammoth offense.  Mammoth are off this week.  Will host the Wings March 29th at 9pm

(6) 6—Toronto Rock (5-7) Split their match ups.  Third quarter collapse on Saturday night led to their 17-12 defeat to the Knighthawks.  Doyle, Hellyer, Billings all hat tricks led the offense.  On Sunday a fourth quarter collapse pushed the game to overtime with the Swarm but Colin Doyles goal at 1:34 gave the Rock a 9-8 win.  Travel to play Philadelphia Saturday 7:30pm.

(8) 7—Vancouver Stealth (3-8)  Off last weekend, the Stealth return home to host the Roughnecks Saturday night 11pm

(9) 8—Minnesota Swarm (2-9)  Fell behind early Sunday to Toronto and used a fourth quarter run to tie the game, but fell 9-8 in overtime. Kiel Matisz (2G) and Logan Schuss (1G/3A) led the Swarm offense.  Swarm will host the Bandits Sunday 2pm

(7) 9—Philadelphia Wings (3-9)  Looked very sluggish in a 11-7 loss to the Knighthawks.  Kevin Crowley hat trick and Jordan Hall 2 goals led the sluggish offense.  Wings will host Rock Saturday 7:30pm
