Press Release:
Edmonton Rush General Manager/Head Coach Derek Keenan announced today following the first training camp session the team has released forward Scott Evans.
“Releasing Scott was not an easy decision but I need to do what I think is best for the future of the Edmonton Rush.” states Keenan
“Scott Evans has been a good player in the NLL for many years but the direction of this team is to be younger and more athletic and we needed to make room on our roster for younger players on the right side of our offense.”
The Edmonton Rush thank Scott for his contributions to the club over the past 2 seasons and wish him the best of luck in the future.
The NLL 2012 Western Division Champs completed the first weekend of training camp and resume the 2013 Training Camp December 8-9, 2012.
