The Vancouver Stealth released rookie Dan Keane yesterday. Vancouver wnt 0-2 in the two pre season games he played in last week. Keane was the 23rd overall pick in the draft in the third round by the Stealth.
The 5’9 righty is out of Delaware and has played Jr A in Ontario with the Brampton Excelsiors, so it wouldn’t be a stretch to see him sign with an eastern division team if needed.
Keane was the fourth overall pick in the Canadian Lacrosse League draft a couple of weeks ago to the Southwest Cyclops, where he will likely play unless or until an NLL team picks him up.
In the Stealth pre season games against the Edmonton Rush and Colorado Mammoth to open their exhibition season, Keane scored one goal, in the loss to Colorado.
