Today our Team Canada player profile will be on the 2013 MLL MVP Kevin Crowley. Crowley had a phenomenal 2013 season for the Hamilton Nationals as he set new career bests in points, shooting percentage, and shots on goal.
Crowley had 38 goals and 14 assists in 2013 a huge improvement from his 2012 season where he only had 37 points. Crowley has shown development in his game and will look to be even better in 2014. Crowley has also found success in the NLL as he has been a force on the Philadelphia Wings. In 2013 Crowley had 72 points and so far in 2014 he has notched 14 goals and 24 assists for 38 points.
Crowley has proven to be an effective scorer and the fact that he has played in Hamilton with Garrett Billings will only help his chances of making Team Canada. If Crowley and Billings bring their chemistry to Team Canada it will give a huge offensive boost to the team.
Crowley is a player who is constantly improving so it will be interesting to see how he fares on the National level. Do not be surprised if by the end of the world championships that Crowley will be one of Canada’s most impactful players.
