Third ELL Tournament Kicks Off Tomorrow

The third European Lacrosse League tournament of the season opens at 8am tomorrow as teams are now fighting for playoff seeding.The first game tomorrow will pit the Custodes against Pietro Filipi. The Custodes have been one of the top teams all season and they get a shot in the arm this week with American goaltender Patrick Crosby and defenseman George Castle. They will also be bringing in Dominik Pesek, an elite scorer with the Victoria Shamrocks junior A club.

Meanwhile, Filipi will be adding former NLL goaltender Ginny Capicchioni to their roster and they are adding two more scorers; Tomas Prochazka and Petr Novak. Game two pits off the tournament two winner Wolves against the German Duetschland Adler. Jamie Plunkett will be out of this game due to being in a fight his previous game.

Game three will pit Pietro Filipi against the Wolves. The Wolves, the winner of the last tournament, are without Emil Moravec as they face Filipi. Sean Gibson will look to lead them to their first tournament win.

The last game of the see will see the Custodes against Adler. Radek Skala has been the stud of the league all season for the Custodes while the second leading scorer in the league, Pavel Dosley, leads the Adler. Below are is the schedule for the entire weekend.
