CILL Cup Takes Place October 19th

The third ever Continental Indoor Lacrosse League playoffs will kick off in two weeks in Michigan.The playoff seedings were determined by winning percentage since most teams did not play the same amount of games as others. The seedings are as follows;

1.Colorado
2.Chicago
3.Grand Rapids
4.Columbus
5.Pittsburgh
6. Milwaukee

The only team out of the playoffs are the Detroit Coney Dogs. The first game of the playoffs will be at 11am between the Grand Rapids Dragonfish and Milwaukee Marauders. Game two pits the Columbus Brew against the Pittsburgh Octane.

At 4:30pm the number two Chicago Outlaws will play the highest remaining seed (any team other than Milwaukee). The last game will be at 7pm with the top seeded Colorado Sabertooths against the lowest remaining seed (any team other than Grand Rapids).

At 10am on Sunday there will be a consolation game for third place in the league and 2pm will be the championship game. Colorado won last year’s championship while year one went to the Dragonfish.
