First Star:
Ian Duffy (Brock University) – The fifth year senior netminder Ian Duffy helped the Brock Badgers pick up the season’s biggest win as the Badgers knocked off the Western Mustangs 8-5. The Ajax,ON goaltender made an outstanding 18 saves, including three highlight reel saves in the third frame. The victory was Duffy’s third win in four starts.
Second Star:
Leland de Langley (McGill University) – Junior attackman Leland de Langley posted 12 points in two games this past weekend, including a monster 10 point game against Concordia. The Orangeville,ON native found the back of the cage four times while adding eight assists. The St. Andrew’s College product has turned up his game as of late after tallying just six points in his first three games.
Third Star:
Jordan Critch (University of Guelph) – In three games this past week, senior midfielder Jordan Critch tallied 16 points for the Guelph Gryphons. The Orangeville Northmen product recorded three goals while adding an impressive 13 helpers. Critch’s 25 points in 2013 is already more his season total last year (18) and only one point away from his career best in 2011(26).
