The Calgary Roughnecks today announced they have acquired transition player Brandon Goodwin from the Buffalo Bandits in exchange for defenceman Mitch de Snoo.

Goodwin, 24, recorded seven points (three goals, four assists) and 17 loose balls in 10 games during his 2015 NLL rookie campaign. The 6-foot-2, 212-pound transition player from New Westminster, British Columbia, was selected by Buffalo in the first round, ninth overall, in the 2014 NLL Draft.

Calgary opens the 2016 regular season at home against the defending champion Saskatchewan Rush on Saturday, Jan. 2, at 7:00 p.m. at the Scotiabank Saddledome.  The Roughnecks tailgate party returns for all home games, giving fans the opportunity to Come for the Party & Stay for the Game as Dutton’s Lounge and the Chrysler Club open two hours before faceoff and remain open following the game.

Roughnecks season tickets, starting at $268 for a reserved seat at nine weekend games, are now on sale along with single game tickets for as low as $38 for adults and $21 for children (plus applicable fees).  For more ticket information, group pricing options and details on the exclusive privileges offered to Roughnecks season seat holders, visit CalgaryRoughnecks.com or contact customer service at 403-777-4646.
