Petkoff Ready for Season with Bandits

Drew Petkoff spent his first four seasons in the National Lacrosse League with the Toronto Rock before joining the Buffalo Bandits in 2013 where he was inactive for the season and on the training camp roster for 2014 while recovering from injury.

Petkoff who is a native of Hamilton, Ontario has played 28 career games with 13 points (2G/11A) and has picked up 132 loose balls.  Earlier this month the New England BlackWolves made an offer sheet to Petkoff.  Bandits had 72 hours to match, and they did signing Petkoff for the 2015 season.

From 2001-2007 Petkoff played hockey in the OHL with Brampton Battalion, QMJHL Gatineau Olympiques, and the Hamilton Red WIngs of the OPJHL.  In 2004 thru 2007 he attended the University of Windsor were he played 71 games scoring  13G/14A.

Petkoff is known more for his hard hitting and fighting.  If you are an offensive player and try to get a shot on goal or come anywhere near the net, you will be met by hard hitting Drew Petkoff as he will make you earn every inch on that floor.
