The Next Big Lacrosse Stars?- Top Dogs

Who are the best players in lacrosse? In the NLL, players like Dan Dawson, John Grant Jr, Tyler Richards and Brodie Merrill just to name a few. In MLL, you would see names like Paul Rabil, Ned Crotty and even a young player like Steele Stanwick.

It’s easy to predict who the best of the best could be. Just look at the draft classes of the NLL and MLL for example. But sometimes, there are busts. It happens in sports. Right now, who are the top players position by position who should break out? We are going to take a look at the best players to never play in a pro game.

Offense

Dhane Smith- Smith was the fifth overall pick to the Buffalo Bandits this summer. He is a scoring machine that passes the ball well and is a solid righty shot. He is pretty much a lock to make the team and could be the next great Bandits scorer.

Defense

Brock Sorensen- I think we have been saying this for the past two years now. Sorensen was drafted second overall to the Minnesota Swarm and once again they will have a solid defense, because of him. There is no doubt Sorensen will be a great defender at the pro level.

Goaltending

Tyler Glebe- Glebe was drafted to Toronto after a great season of Jr B with London. He might not start this season, as most young goaltenders do not, but he could become a very solid NLL goalie.
