Toronto Rock forward Garrett Billings underwent successful knee surgery earlier today to repair his torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee. Billings was on his way to his first NLL scoring title when he injured his knee in the 2nd quarter of Toronto’s game in Vancouver on April 5th. The Peterborough Jr Lakers are pleased to announce the acquisition of 19 year old Holden Cattoni from the Okotoks Jr “A” Raiders of the Alberta Lacrosse Association. Holden has two years of junior eligibility remaining. In 2013 Holden led his team to the Minto Cup Tournament with 51 goals and 41 assists in 21 games. The Canadian Lacrosse Association has announced the 24 players selected to the Canadian National Men’s Field Lacrosse Team.
