The Buffalo Bandits signed free agent scorer Aaron Wilson to a three year deal on Wednesday.Wilson was acquired by the Bandits last season in a trade with the Edmonton Rush. Wilson leads a strong right handed side of the offense along with Joe Resetarits, Dhane Smith and Derek Hopcroft.
Last season the Bandits were the only NLL club to miss the playoffs and they struggled with their offensive attack all season. Wilson was second on the team in scoring last season with 46 points, behind the 63 from Shawn Williams.
Wilson’s numbers have gone down some in the past few years. He scored just 31 points in the season before after he scored 57, and he scored 89 points in 2010, his career high.
Wilson has spent time in his career with Edmonton, Minnesota, Rochester and Toronto. While with the Toronto Rock, where he began his career, Wilson scored into the 70s twice.
