The Barrie Blizzard are pleased to announce their 2014 roster. This year’s team will consist of twelve returning players as they look to improve on their 2013 season. This year’s team features an incredible scoring punch with returnees Caleb Wiles and Jason Mainer along with the addition Aaron Grayson, who was picked up in the TorontoShooting Stars Dispersal Draft. Back in net this season will be Scott Komer, who is just off winning the 2013 President’s Cup with the St. Catharines Saints.
The Blizzard made a handful of changes to bolster this year’s lineup including the additions of Rob Koger (Durham Turfdogs), Zach Tomkinson (Barrie Lakeshores), and Reed Boards (Mississauga Tomahawks). In one of the most talked about moves at the 2013 Entry Draft, the Blizzard picked up 10 year NLL veteran, and former Durham Turfdogs GM/Coach Jonas Derks who will bring some key leadership both on and off the floor.
