The Chesapeake Bayhawks had a fantastic first half of the season, losing just one game and they are currently sitting atop the MLL standings.
The Bayhawks are a game and a half in front of the Long Island Lizards and Denver Outlaws. The Bayhawks also lead MLL in two point goals with eighteen, nine more than the Charlotte Hounds, who have nine.
Chesapeake has scored 109 goals, third in the league behind the Outlaws and Boston Cannons. They also have the second best goals against in the league behind their goaltending team of Kip Turner and TC DiBartolo.
The Bayhawks will open up their second half at Charlotte on Saturday night. Here is a look at their second half schedule.
July 7 @ Charlotte
July 14 @ Rochester
July 21 @ Ohio
July 28 @ Boston
August 4 vs Long Island
August 11 vs Denver
The schedule is a bit difficult, but not incredibly hard. They have to play four games on the road, but against Charlotte, Rochester and Ohio, the Bayhawks should be able to pick up wins.
Winning at Boston will be tough to do, but then the Hawks come home to face two tough opponents in Long Island and Denver.
