The Southwest Cyclops and Barrie Blizzard completed the first trade of 2015 recently.
Southwest will be receiving Alex Lubczuk from Barrie in exchange for 5th round pick in the 2015 entry draft.
Lubczuk, 22, spent five consecutive seasons playing Junior A with the Kitchener-Waterloo Braves. Most recently he spent a season in Major Series Lacrose (MSL) with the Kitchener-Waterloo Kodiaks before being drafted by the Toronto Rock in the 6th round. Lubczuk has a reputation of having a positive attitude and a great lacrosse IQ.
