The Colorado Mammoth announced on Wednesday that forward Eric Law, who signed with the team in August, will miss at least the first month of the season recovering from surgery to repair an injured shoulder. The injury occurred while Law was playing lacrosse (with the Denver Outlaws) in the summer.
“We were aware of Eric’s setback before we signed him,” said Mammoth president and general manager Steve Govett. “We look forward to his full recovery.”
Law, who played for the Jr. Mammoth a decade ago, is a native of Centennial, Colo. He earned Colorado’s Player of the Year Award at Arapahoe High School before starring at the University of Denver.
