Kevin Drew Now a Hound; What He Can Do

Earlier today Kevin Drew was traded to the Charlotte Hounds. Drew was traded to Charlotte from the Rochester Rattlers for Billy Bitter and a draft pick.

But who is Kevin Drew, and what does he bring to the table with the Hounds?

He played in eleven games with the Rattlers in 2012. He scored five goals and two assists to total at seven points on the season, his first year in Major League Lacrosse.

He shot the ball sixteen times, had a short handed goal, and picked up fifteen ground balls in his rookie season.

Drew played his college lacrosse with the Syracuse Orange. The midfielder had a good college career, helping the Orange to the third best defense in the league.

A defensive midfielder, Drew does have some scoring ability too. Overall, the hounds expect him to be a solid player for them. They just traded away Bitter and Jeremy Boltus, two players who looked to be a part of their future. Now Drew is their young stud, expect a good year from him.
