Voyageurs Split Weekend With Extreme and Mohawks

The Vermont Voyageurs won their first game this weekend but lost on Sunday, going 1-1 on the weekend and staying in third place overall in the Quebec Senior Lacrosse League. Both Kahnawake teams in the Quebec Senior Lacrosse League were in action this weekend with far different results. The Mohawks topped the Vermont Voyageurs 15-13. The Ottawa Axemen and Kahnawake Mohawks are both 7-1 and lead the standings in the Quebec Senior Lacrosse League. Junior Voyageurs Sign Kurt Hunziker

The Vermont Voyageurs announced on Monday that the club has signed Kurt Hunziker as the first Junior player of the 2014 season. Kurt Hunziker is going into his second season with the Umass Minutemen after a successful first year in 2013.
