The Kitchener Waterloo Kodiaks picked up their first win of the 2013 MSL season after a 7-6 victory over the Oakville Rock at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre. The Six Nations Chiefs improved to 3-1 after defeating the Peterborough Lakers (2-2) by a score of 12-9 on Sunday afternoon at Iroquois Lacrosse Arena.   The Chiefs had a 7-3 lead halfway through the second period, but after a string of penalties the Lakers took advantage and scored four straight goals to tie the game.  Six Nations then scored three straight to lead 10-7 early in the third but…

After a tough 15-8 loss Sunday against the Brooklin Redman, the Peterborough Lakers (1-1) will look to get back in the win column when they host the Brampton Excelsiors (0-2) Thursday night in a rematch of last week’s season opener.
