Saints Acquire Geoff McNulty

The hosts of the 2015 President’s Cup have made their first move of the offseason, as the St. Catharines Saints have acquired Geoff McNulty  from the Owen Sound North Stars in exchange for the left shooting Scott DeFrancesco. CLax Power Rankings: Cyclops Comeback Sends Them to Top Spot

This past week of Canadian Lacrosse League action really showed the parity within the league. With the Barrie Blizzard upsetting the Ohsweken Demons and the Southwest Cyclops narrowly edging the Durham Turfdogs just 2 points separate 1st place from 4th. The Cyclops win, coupled with the Demons loss pushed the Cyclops into first place, while the Blizzard win coupled with the Turfdogs loss forced a tie between the two teams for third place….

Joe Sullivan Out in Peterborough

The Peterborough Lakers Board of Directors has announced today that the team has parted ways with Head Coach and General Manager Joe Sullivan. The team has decided to go in a different direction this season and came to a mutual agreement with Sullivan to step down. No other staffing changes have been announced. The Lakers are currently searching for Sullivan’s replacement and will be conducting interviews in the coming weeks….
