This past Weekend in the WLA was chock full of action. This weekend 6 of the 7 WLA teams were in action. On Thursday night the New Westminster Salmonbellies handed the Victoria Shamrocks their first loss of the season by defeating them 14-12 in overtime. With this win New Westminster ended their 3 game losing streak and improved their record to 4 -3 on the season. While Victoria with the loss fell to 5-1 on the season and suffered their first loss.
