The Yale Bulldogs men’s lacrosse team defeated the Villanova Wildcats 18-12 on February 15 at Villanova Stadium. Thomas Bragg, Lucas Cotler and Matt Gaudet led Yale with four goals each. The Virginia Cavaliers (17-3) defeated the Yale Bulldogs (15-4) 13-9 in front of 31,528 fans at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia to capture their sixth National Championship on Monday, their first since 2011.
