Limestone Tops LIU Post 12-6 to Claim D-II Championship Title

The Division II Championship took place at 4pm today in Baltimore, MD. Limestone went head to head against LIUPost in a heated and aggressive match. Though the crowd was bigger for the D-III match earlier today, I personally feel the D-II game was much more intense and dramatic. Both teams were missing basic shots under high defensive pressure. Limestone led the momentum of the game, but LIU Post kept at…

Chamberlain Championship Weekend Edition NCAA DIVISION 1 SEMIFINALS Maryland vs. Notre Dame This game will be the third meeting between these ACC rivals. MLL: NCAA Championship Weekend Well Scheduled

Look at the Major League Lacrosse schedule and you see a gap, a two-week gap between games. The reason is NCAA Championship Weekend. This coming weekend in Baltimore isn’t just a celebration of college lacrosse, but also a celebration of the sport. Credit the MLL for realizing this. I’m sure several players want to attend the event, some to watch their alma maters battle for a National Championship. It’s not…

Chamberlain: Beware of the Ides of March

March 13, 2014

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ides_of_March   #3 Johns Hopkins vs #10 Syracuse I like ‘Cuse to defeat Johns Hopkins in this contest. While the Orange has struggled on faceoffs, they are still an elite program that is still working out its lineup. Each week this team continue to improve and on Saturday, Randy Staats, Dylan Donohue and Kevin Rice will give the Hopkins defense fits. I’m calling for a big day for the Orange vs….

Wheeling Jesuit Wins Three Times This Weekend

March 10, 2014

Ever since I graduated from Wheeling Jesuit University in 2004, I’ve made it a habit to check scores on laxpower to see how the program was doing.  Even though I graduated 10 years ago, I am still very proud of the program and the time I spent at WJU.  Whenever I found myself driving cross-country, I made a stop on campus to just drive around and keep the memories fresh….

ILWT Exclusive: FaceOff Club’s 7th Annual National FaceOff Combine

January 27, 2014

Lacrosse has skyrocketed in popularity; this is reiterated countless times a day by players, coaches and fans. Unfortunately, not many people outside the sport understand quite what it takes to be a topnotch competitor. There are so many professional lacrosse leagues that it would be impossible to hold professional league recruitment combines. The events would overlap too many leagues’ seasons and events, and therefore comes down to college players competing…
