Rockhoppers Open NALL Season With 10-9 Win

The Boston Rockhoppers picked up their first win of the North American Lacrosse League season with a 10-9 victory over the Kentucky Stickhorses, repeating their performance when they defeated them to close out last season. Goaltender Nick Schroeder led the Rockhoppers with 40 saves in the win to counter the 37 saves from losing goaltender Spencer Lyons. Kentucky had 49 shots on goal to the Boston 47. Stickhorses Sign Chazz Woodson

Last night the Kentucky Stickhorses signed forward Chazz Woodson to their roster. Woodson had a great MLL season this summer with the Ohio Machine and is one of the biggest names in pro lacrosse.
