Ladner Pioneers Win Ales Hrebsky Championship

A champion was crowned this afternoon when the Ladner Pioneers defeated the Green Gaels 9-6 to take home the 2015 Ales Hrebsky championship. Jason Jones led the way with three goals as the leading scorer for the winning team. Both teams were undefeated going in, but only the Pioneers remain without a scratch. Green Gaels Face Pioneers in Ales Hrebsky Final

The final game of the Ales Hrebsky tournament will take place this afternoon at 2pm as the Green Gaels face the Ladner Pioneers for the championship. The Pioneers defeated the Boston Megamen in the semi finals to advance. It could be considered an upset, for the Megamen were one of the favorites in the tournament.
