Syracuse and Cornell Meet for 100th Time

February 14, 2015

When Syracuse and Cornell face off on Sunday, it will mark one of the few times in NCAA lacrosse that two teams will have met 100 times.  While Syracuse owns the series with 63 wins, 35 losses and one tie, it has been an extremely competitive match up over the past few seasons.  This always is a great game, no matter who is having the better year.  Just looking at…

Syracuse Orange Roll Past Siena

February 8, 2015

Syracuse and Siena started their season in the Carrier Dome much the same way 2014 began.  Last season, Syracuse topped the Saints 19-7.  This year looked like it should have been a much closer matchup, with Syracuse still coming away with the win.  Instead, it was a bigger rout as the Orange would walk away with a 21-7 win. Video: In Lacrosse, the Goalie Should Be Your Most Athletic Player

October 27, 2014

Being a goaltender in lacrosse is no easy task. There are specific skill sets required, a higher level of athletic ability, reflexes, and a strong lacrosse IQ. NCAA ACC Roundup: Another All Conference Championship

May 29, 2014

Following Duke’s back-to-back championship wins, it seems there’s a solid perspective on the ACC as the Power House Conference. I think that’s accurate. Lacrosse continues to grow from east to west, meaning younger programs pop up the further west one goes in the US. Mostly MCLA and NCLL competition other than the Denver Pioneers. Let’s take a glance at the season-ending records of the ACC teams: Maryland 13-4 Duke   17-3…
