COLORADO MAMMOTH PRESS RELEASE
DENVER – With the ratification of a new seven-year Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) between the National Lacrosse League and the Professional Lacrosse Players’ Association and the fast-approaching start of training camp, the Colorado Mammoth front office has announced a slew of roster moves. Twelve players, including John Gallant, the longest-tenured player in franchise history, have been signed, pending league approval.
“The past week has been an exciting voyage, ensuring that our franchise is poised to make a run at a championship this season,” said Mammoth president & general manager Steve Govett. “With just 18 days until [training] camp, there’s still a lot more to get done.”
Nine of the 12 players signed are returners, including: Gallant, Colton Clark, Joel Dalgarno, Jaeden Gastaldo, Chet Koneczny, Mat MacLeod, Jordan McBride, John Orsen and Sean Pollock.
Draft picks Cody McMahon and Dom Sebastiani and draft-day acquisition Jackson Decker also agreed to terms.
Last week, the Mammoth made John Grant Jr. the first player signed under the terms of the new CBA.
