This week for the MCLA blog I am going to cover a team that I believe could make the jump to NCAA lacrosse, Colorado University. “The Red Hot Buffs” as they call themselves are a team that in the near future could have the amount of talent, funding, and support from the school that would be needed to make the jump. They also by no means would be out of the way for any teams to go out and play them, with other local teams such as most prominent Denver University but also, Air Force Academy. I could jab all day on the reasons why I think CU could make the jump but, I think this video series that they put out will tell a better story. They have the dedication, the heart, and the talent!

As you can see in this video they are a very disciplined team with a lot of heart, talent, and very well cached under Coach John Galvin. Their only lost this year has come to in state rival CSU in a tough 8-3 game. If I were a betting man I would count on seeing these two teams playing each other again in the MCLA Division 1 championship if the brackets allow.
