A big THANK YOU to everyone who voted for me and supported me to become an MLL All Star this year. I’ve had some of the most fun I’ve ever had playing lacrosse this season, and it was an honor to be in Florida this weekend playing alongside the best players in the game. For me, this weekend was about acknowledging and enjoying how far the support I’ve received throughout my life has taken me in this game that I love.
From being lightly recruited coming out of Wellesley (MA) public schools, to being drafted in the late rounds of the MLL supplemental draft, to becoming an MLL All Star is a journey that was not easy or linear, and something that I could not have done without the support around me, namely from my family, coaches, and teammates.
This weekend, all of the hard work and persistence that has been engrained in me by the influencers in my life came together in a couple days of fun, enjoyment, and celebration. I met a number of great people who are also some of the best players in the game and I look forward to competing against them this year and for years to come.
Again, thank you to everyone who helped provide this opportunity to me. I look forward to validating your support with continued hard work and dedication.
