1-3 certainly wasn’t the record that the Rochester Rattlers hoped they would have through four games, but they certainly aren’t alone or out of the race. Tied with Boston and Charlotte for fifth place, Rochester is only a few wins away from being right in the playoff picture.
That being said, Rochester surely has some problems they need to sort out. There are only two teams that’s leading scorer has as many or fewer points than Rochester’s leading scorer, Ned Crotty. Mark Millon, who was brought out of retirement to boost Rochester’s playoff chances. However through the four games he only has one goal.
The Rattlers only win came against the Hounds, who the Rattlers split a home and home series with. John Galloway and the rest of the Rochester goaltenders have struggled, giving up 20, 17, and 15 goals in their three loses. Their most recent loss came against the Denver Outlaws, a crushing 20-7 loss.
The Rattlers have a good chance to turn things around in the next two weeks with games against the Ohio Machine and the Boston Cannons. Boston is struggling as well, at 1-3, and Ohio’s woes are also continuing as they are still winless.
The Rattlers season so far hasn’t really been the kind to get fans excited but look on the bright side, the Rattlers Twitter account is active again!
