The North American Lacrosse League played their second week of action this past Saturday with both Baltimore and Kentucky picking up their first wins of the season. Several players stood out, but here are three of the best.
Ginny Cappichioni- Baltimore
Cappichioni was playing her first game with Baltimore and while Boston scored 16 goals in the game, she kept the Bombers in it late when Boston got a lot of shots on net. This was a gutsy win for Baltimore and without their top defender, they needed a big game form Cappichioni and got it.
Travis Bland- Kentucky
Bland scored four goals in the Kentucky win over Rhode Island, a game in which Kentucky probably did not play at their best. Bland led the team in goals and now has had two big weeks for his new team in Lousiville as he is proving to be a strong scorer in this league.
Andrew Wasik- Baltimore
In his first NALL game with the Bombers, Wasik led them with four goals including the overtime game winner. This was a game where they were without their top offensive player in Dan Marhol, so Wasik was relied on heavily and came through.
