On Tuesday, Nick Galasso was granted his release from the North Carolina Tar Heels. He stated to Lacrosse Magazine that he wanted to be an impact somewhere else and he wanted to attend a different school.
Syracuse lacrosse tweeted earlier today that head coach John Desko has confirmed Syracuse will talk to Galasso about an opportunity of playing with Syracuse.
The Orange have lost a lot of top players in the past two years, so they could certainly use a player like Galasso.
One thing to keep in mind is the fact that Galasso cannot go to an ACC school unless he wants to sit out a year, which he has made clear to Lax Mag that he does not want to do that.
BUT Syracuse is not an ACC school yet, but they will be in 2014, which certainly makes things a little bit more interesting.
