NLL Injury Report: Loewen, Merrill, Greer

Some injury news in the National Lacrosse League this week as several players are returning to action and some players are out. Here is all of the news leading up to game time.

IN

Bill Greer, Toronto—Head coach John Lovell said this week that Greer will be available for both their games against Rochester and Minnesota.

Rob Marshall, Toronto—Marshall is 100 percent, according to Lovell.

Pat Merrill, Toronto—Merrill missed the Rock’s game two weeks ago but they have not played since. He had the flu, and he should be good for both games this weekend.

Sean Pollock, Colorado—Pollock played injured last week and scored the game winning overtime goal. It seems he has not aggravated the injury any more and he will be in the game this week.

GAMETIME DECISION

Riley Loewen, Edmonton—Loewen looked like he got hurt very badly against Vancouver on Saturday night last week, but defensive coach Jimmy Quinlan said it’s not as bad as thought and he will be a game time decision. He collided with Justin Pychal of the Stealth and suffered a shoulder injury.

Adam Jones, Colorado—Jones has been absent since about a month ago with a separated shoulder. On the NLL conference call this week, new Mammoth coach Chris Gill said that Jones is a game time decision for this week and they will be watching him for evaluation before deciding if he will play.
