Three games took place this past weekend with the Knighthawks facing the Swarm, Rock facing the Rush and the Roughnecks taking on the Mammoth. The three (or maybe more) best players of the week are listed below in our weekly three stars.
Curtis Dickson & Jeff Shattler- Calgary
When two players both score five goals in a game, they both need to make this list. Both Dickson, a former rookie of the year and Shattler, a former MVP looked dominant against the Mammoth as their five goal performances were half of the goals that the Necks scored in the game.
Mark Matthews- Edmonton
The number one pick in the draft to the Edmonton Rush ended up with four goals on the night against a tough Toronto defense, proving to the league that he is already an elite forward at this level.
Jordan McBride- Colorado
McBride was on this list last week as one of the only players playing, with only one game, but even with three games played he finds a way back to the list. McBride was one of the Mammoth’s only bright spots in their loss to the Roughnecks this weekend, scoring four goals.
