NLL Three Stars: Western Sweep

Week five of the NLL season has come to the close, and we have selected the three best players of the week from around the league, which you can see below.

John Grant Jr, Colorado Mammoth

Grant is having another stellar season. This week for the Mammoth in their win over the Minnesota Swarm he had 11 points. Five goals and six assists. That’s not two games for Junior this week, that’s 11 points in a single game. Hard for him not to be the top star.

Jeff Shattler, Calgary Roughnecks

Shattler led Calgary to their third win of the season as they defeated Edmonton and scored 18 goals doing it. He was the leader of that with two goals and six assists, contributing on eight of the 18 scored. He also picked up seven loose balls in the victory.

Tyler Richards, Washington Stealth

Richards has missed some games this season with the Stealth, but when he has been in there he has been elite. He made 48 saves in the Washington loss to the Rochester Knighthawks, but that loss was not even close to his fault.
