The MILA Championship and playoffs are set to be hosted this weekend, but not exactly as it might have been expected.
The Dragonfish were set to host the playoffs, but Colorado was not able to do that.
The playoffs were then moved to Milwaukee as a better overall facility and to cheapen things for costs for the Sabertooths.
In the end, the playoffs will be in Grand Rapids. The Dragonfish will be there to play the host Milwaukee Marauders and the Chicago Outlaws. Pittsburgh and Columbus would have been the playoff options in the Mid States Division, but chose not to. Thus, Milwaukee from the Central West Division replaces them as the host. Chicago earned a playoff spot under Colorado.
The Dragonfish will play the Outlaws and Marauders on Saturday in Milwaukee. As far as who will be the champion? It looks like Grand Rapids and Colorado will be crowned co champions of the MILA.
