The Hamilton Nationals (7-3) earned their seventh win of the season after defeating the Rochester Rattlers (4-6) on Sunday afternoon at Sahlen’s Stadium. Hamilton’s leading goal scorer Kevin Crowley scored two goals and three assists in the win.
Bayhawks Squeek By Machine
The young Ohio Machine gave the chesapeake Bayhawks a run for their money, exchanging leads multiple times throughout last night’s game, but came just short of defeating the defending champions. Ohio’s goaltender, Brian Phipps, stood on his head, and made 17 stops to keep the game close.
Any Positives for the Machine?
The Ohio Machine entered their sophomore season in the MLL with high hopes. However, the season has not turned out the way that they or their fans have hoped. Their 1-9 record proves just that. There are multiple positives to the Machine’s season thus far.

Head Coach Dave Huntley’s Hamilton Nationals, currently 6-3 and in second place, will travel to take on Coach Tim Soudan’s 4-5 Rochester Rattlers.
