NLL Names Week Ten Award Winners

The National Lacrosse League has announced Player of the Week awards for Week #10 of the 2013 NLL regular season which featured four games this past weekend. Calgary Roughnecks forward Dane Dobbie, who ranks second in the league with 30 goals, won Offensive Player of the Week after scoring six goals and registering a total of 10 points. Bandits Trade Jimmy Purves to Rochester

According to multiple reports, the Buffalo Bandits have traded transition man Jimmy Purves to the Rochester Knighthawks for a second round draft pick. Purves has played in eight games this season for the Bandits and has put together three points; two goals and an assist. They signed him to a one year deal before the season. Ajax Rock to Move to Oakville

According to reports the Ajax Rock of Major Series Lacrosse will be moving to Oakville. The move is not yet a done deal and needs approval from the Ontario Lacrosse Association.
