The National Lacrosse League has announced Player of the Week awards for Week #1 after the Washington Stealth opened the 2013 NLL regular season with a 13-12 home win over the defending champion Rochester Knighthawks last weekend. Ironmen and Demons Announce Rosters

All seven teams have now released rosters for the 2013 Canadian Lacrosse League (CLax) season. The deadline for rosters to be submitted to the league was Tuesday at 11pm Eastern. At that time, five team rosters were made public: Barrie Blizzard, Brampton Inferno, Durham Turfdogs, Niagara Lock Monsters and Toronto Shooting Stars. The National Lacrosse League announced that both Billy Dee Smith of the Buffalo Bandits and Andrew Suitor of the Minnesota Swarm have lost their appeals and will serve two game suspensions to start the 2013 season.
