Shamrocks look to even series in Game 4

The WLA final has been a battle of titans a both team have no quit attitudes and have brought out the best in each other. Langley holds a 2-1 lead thanks to their playoff experience as they have been able to win games late. While Victoria despite getting behind in every game of this series have been able to battle back to take the lead but have only been able to hold off the Thunder in game 2.

Both teams are missing key players as Athan Iannucci is out for Langley while Victoria has been without the services of Corey Small. Both these players have the skill to change the series for either of their respective teams and at this point the Shamrocks need Small back if they hope to win this series. Langley has not missed Iannucci thanks to the strong play of Mark Matthews and Garrett Billings who joined the team late this summer. Matthews has been a pain in Victoria’s side as he scored four clutch goals in Game three in order to keep the Thunder ahead in this series.

Victoria in game four need to find a way to shut down Matthews as he has been able to lift Langley to victory in both game one and game two. The other key for Victoria is they need to get off to a quicker start. Langley has proven that they may bend once they get a lead but they will not break. Victoria needs to take an early lead and force Langley to work from behind for a change.

Langley on the other hand just need to continue what they are doing as they have gotten out to early leads and have not panicked when Victoria has made comebacks. If Langley can continue to get off to good starts their skill and experience will enable them to beat Victoria every time.

Game four goes Friday night in Victoria and the Shamrocks  will hope to even this series or else they will travel back to Langley down three games to one.
