As the Vancouver Stealth continue their free agent camp, they re-signed some of their own players and signed most of their draft picks.
The Stealth signed draft picks Cody Bremner, Chris Wardle, Brett Dobray, Blair Gloss, Kevin Neufield and Brendan Rouse to one year contracts. They also kept last year’s draft picks Justin Pychal and Billy Hostrawser and 2011 draft pick Justin Salt, signing them to one year deals. Josh Hawkins is also attending the camp.
Other than the four year extension signed by John Grant Jr in Colorado, these are the first signings since the new NLL CBA was announced on Tuesday. The Stealth are hosting a free agent camp this weekend, the first team to hold one this off season.
Some players at the camp include players who went undrafted like Nick Stone and Hugh Weir along with veterans Jamie Shewchuk, Alex Gajic and goaltender Matt Flindell. Some other less known free agents such as Chris Perry, Matt Pelky and Brandon Smith are also attempting the weekend camp.
