July 12, 2012

The Ohio Machine is last in the MLL standings with only one win, but it faces its best opportunity to improve on that this weekend. The Machine (1-7) will play a home-and-home series on back-to-back nights this weekend with the Hamilton Nationals (2-6). One more game means one more chance to win, and it comes against the team closest in the standings. It could also mean one last chance for…

The team sits in fifth place in the standings at 3-4, only a game and a half out behind the Boston Cannons for the final playoff position. Yet they are poor in some key categories. The team is dead last in goals scored (72). They are 1-4 on the road. They are sixth…

July 5, 2012— Although they were attempting (and somewhat expected) to resemble the old Toronto Nationals team that won an MLL title their first year in the league, the Hounds are still getting started. Boasting huge names like Matt Danowski, Billy Bitter, Jeremy Boltus, Jovan Miller, and the All-Star game’s MVP Stephen Berger has not been a problem this year, chemistry, however, has been. MLL Future In Atlanta?

Thoughts on the MLL All-Star Game

Yesterday’s All-Star game was a good one; the MLL really had a good showing in Boca Raton, Florida. The big drawback may be the technical difficulties through the second quarter. They had a huge crowd down…
