Thoughts on The upcoming PLL Season

Iwanusa watching from the box vs the Irish All Stars

Things have picked up in the last few weeks with the PLL and its been a sign of more good things to come. With 4 teams and our schedule just announced, I can’t help but start thinking ahead to the season.

Training camp is just around the corner. With so little time together with the team this spring before our exhibition game, this camp is going to be a great opportunity to get a few weekends together. We should really develop our chemistry and identity as a team and learn the coaches system better. Plus, we have a handful of new guys that were recently drafted and it should be fun to see those guys in the mix.

Looking at the schedule, I’m most excited for the first 2 games both against Jacksonville. First, is Sept 15th at their place, which we will just want to get the season rolling and hopefully started off on the right foot. The Bullies and their fans have been waiting a while for this first game and it will be great to be a part of it.

The next weekend is our home opener in Charlotte, our first chance since the game vs. the Irish All Stars to get the Bo Dome rocking. With the Hounds season wrapping up and Charlotte really showing amazing support for professional lacrosse, we plan to continue that momentum. We want to start our home schedule off against Jacksonville with a victory and keep the winning ways going all the way to a PLL title!
