Last night the Langley Thunder went up two games to one in their Western Lacrosse Association finals to the Coquitlam Adanacs with a 9-5 win.
Both teams were tied at five going into the third, but the Thunder would score four and shut out the Adanacs in the final frame.
The Adanacs got two goals and two assists from Kevin Olson on a night where their offense struggled. Lewis Ratcliff scored three Thunder goals. Kerry Susheski score two, both in the third period.
Alex Turner also had two goals while Joel McCready had three assists, and Garrett Billings had a goal and four assists.
Nick Rose made forty three saves for the Adanacs in the loss while the Thunder were led by thirty five saves from Brodie MacDonald and four from Steve Fryer.
The Thunder won in the shots department, 52-44. The Thunder now take a two to one advantage on the Adanacs and the series goes to Coquitlam for game four.
