Cornell Looks to Rebound After Lost Season

With visions of getting to the championship, dreams for Cornell turned into a deadly nightmare.Their star Rob Pannell was sitting on the bench last year with a broken ankle, and it cost them. Panell was the aggressive scorer that this team thrived on.

In the defensive department, the Big Red lacked deapth in the goal tender position. Last season ended in a three game losing skid. The good side of this aspect is two players had emerged with potential that shocked everybody. Matt Donovan and Max Von Bourgondien showed that they too can be effective within Cornell offense.

The problems that need to be fixed within the team are as followed: they need to find offensive play with A.J. Fiore and Andrew West. This has been a recurring issue and has hurt the team in the past. The positive plays   hatmany eyes have seen is their relentless pressure they apply to overwhelm their opponents. With the Fall Ball schedule coming to an end, there are question that still remain.

Will Rob Panell be afactor if he is able to play? Since he is working out by himself, how much endurance does he have to stay up with other opponents? Will Big Red make it to the final dance and how will the team respond from their disappointing season that they had last season?
