2013 NLL Free Agents: Philadelphia Wings

The Philadelphia Wings are coming off of their best season since 2009, yet it is being looked at as a disappointment after their first round exit to the Rochester Knighthawks. Most of their star players, Dan Dawson, Brodie Merrill and Kevin Crowley, are locked up, but some secondary guys are on the market.

Brandon Miller- The Wings have to keep Miller. Anthony Cosmo could be an intriguing free agent goalie for them too, but Miller has been a rock in net for Philadelphia and I do not see them letting go.

Tom Hajek- Retire

Chris Schiller- Wings source says he is retired.

Restricted Free Agents

Matt Alrich

Patrick Heim

Steve Holmes

Brett Manney

Ryan McFayden

Joe Smith

A lot of secondary players on this restricted free agents list for the Philadelphia Wings. The highest scorer here is Pat Heim who had eight points in fourteen games. Brett Manney brought 45 loose balls to the table, and Steve Holmes had 41. I would imagine the Wings will be able to retain most of these players if they want to keep them.
